    Default BSC Cadet Epee Competitions

    A few people have been contacting me with questions about the BSC Cadet Epee events that will be taking place next season season. I am still working on some details like the website and entry system etc but I hope the info below will help for now.


    The Lancashire BSC Cadet Epee

    Date: Sunday 29th September (boys and girls)

    Venue: Lancashire County Cricket Club (indoor cricket centre)

    Format: 2 rounds of poules followed by DE

    Entries being taken from July 2013


    The Leon Paul BSC Cadet Epee

    Date: boys - Saturday 2nd November / girls - Sunday 3rd November

    Venue: Leon Paul Fencing Centre, London NW9

    Format: 2 rounds of poules followed by DE with Repechage from L32

    Entries being taken from September 2013

    Thanks Jon. Sounds like things are in safe hands and progressing well.

    Any info on likely check in times would be helpful, particularly if folk need to secure cheap prices for London stays. Some competitions last year aimed for 8am, others closer to 10am.

    Very happy to see another couple of serious comps for youngsters with lots of fencing to make the journeys worth while, well done Jon

    2 Poules, repecharge then it's only really lacking a Plate Comp JW, care to go for broke?

    Might be a bit early...

    I will need 16 epee referee's who feel confident refereeing cadets (boys & girls)

    Sunday 29th September 08:45

    Lancashire Cricket Club (indoor cricket centre)

    Approximate work load will be
    • 3 x poules of 5 or 6 (45-60 mins each)
    • 8-10 DE fights
    • Start time 9am
    • L8's start 3:40pm
    Payment will be a flat rate of £50 plus tea/coffee & snacks
