New Delhi: Department of Promotion of Industry and Internal Trade (DPIIT) will host Startup India Innovation Week from 10-16 January.
“Startup India Innovation Week 2023 aims to spur the spirit of entrepreneurship and innovation in India by engaging stakeholders in the startup ecosystem across the country from 10th January to 16th January. ,” the Ministry of Commerce and Industry said in a release.
This includes knowledge-sharing sessions for entrepreneurs, aspiring entrepreneurs, and other enablers, attended by relevant stakeholders in the startup ecosystem such as government officials, incubators, companies, and investors. increase.
As part of the Azadi Ka Amrit Mahotsav celebration, various startup-related events are held in more than 75 locations across the country, engaging startup communities across the country and fostering the spirit of entrepreneurship and innovation.
These events include dedicated workshops for women entrepreneurs, incubator training, mentorship workshops, stakeholder roundtables, conferences, capacity building workshops, startup pitching sessions, and more.
The department has taken up several programs in recent years under the Startup India initiative since 2016. This is the Center’s flagship initiative to foster a strong startup ecosystem in India.
In honor of National Startup Day on 16th January, DPIIT will host a celebration ceremony for the winners of the National Startup Awards 2022, a flagship initiative of Startup India.
The ceremony recognizes and rewards the excellence exhibited by startups and ecosystem enablers across various sectors, subsectors and categories.
