Earlier this week, Tampa Bay Buccaneers assistant coach Clyde Christensen offered some insight into the split between Tom Brady and Gisele Bundchen.
In fact, the divorce caused Brady to lose 15 pounds.
Christensen said via the Tampa Bay Times:
“Seeing Tom have to leave training camp for 11 days to deal with personal issues was heartbreaking,” said Christensen. “Divorced. Worried about his kids. Hard stuff. But even after you come back, you’re still expected to do your job. Nobody cares. And you’re a team.” You have everyone depends on you and the show goes on.”
The football world turned to social media to react to the latest news.
“He lost that good divorce weight. I was there lol,” joked one fan.
Others were less offended by Brady.
“He chose to leave his wife for football. I have no sympathy for him at all,” said one fan.
Some people don’t think it’s news that Brady was heartbroken after his divorce.
“Man grieves over divorce. BREAKING NEWS!” added another.
Gisele appears to have jumped into a new romance, while Brady seems to be taking things a little slower.
