Former Las Vegas Raiders head coach Jon Gruden is fixated on fighting the NFL.
That fight took an interesting turn on Thursday afternoon. A new report from 8NewsNow claims Gruden’s attorneys allege that the NFL pressured the Raiders to fire Gruden.
Although not fired, Gruden stepped down as the team’s head coach on October 11, 2021.
From 8NewsNow:
Jon Gruden’s attorneys allege the NFL pressured the Las Vegas Raiders last year to fire the former head coach after racist and homophobic emails were released.
Gruden’s attorney argued in response to the NFL’s appeal to the Nevada Supreme Court.
Gruden’s lawsuit also seeks to uncover the identity of the person who leaked the emails sent to former commanding officer Bruce Allen.
Commanders owner Dan Snyder was recently hinted at as that person, but didn’t say it explicitly.
