Twitter introduced the NFT badge feature in January, allowing NFT owners to verify ownership of their art. Verified NFTs can be used as Twitter profile pictures and are indicated by a special hexagon. Prior to the release of Magic Mirror, his NFT owners in other networks such as Optimism, Polygon and Avalanche were unable to do this.
The company says the new tool is an attempt to solve this problem, but it is only intended for Optimism NFT owners. Users can always switch between NFTs in the wach mirror instead of creating a new NFT each time. However, only one optimism NFT can be in the mirror at a time.
Magic Mirror is part of a new push by Optimism to win the battle between Ethereum scaling solutions. In June, a version of Balancer was released on the Optimism platform, and in September, Optimism’s 1 inch his users received an airdrop of his 300K tokens to encourage their use of the network. .
