The game is played on a badminton-sized court, with a net lowered to 34 inches in the center, and light paddles and plastic perforated balls. Played as singles or doubles, it is easy for beginners to learn, but can evolve into a fast-paced competitive game for experienced players. Besides being fun, the game has earned a reputation for being friendly and social in nature. This activity is perfect for active adults who want to have fun and move their bodies! Adult Pickleball takes place Wednesdays and Fridays from 11am to 1pm at the East He Suffolk Recreation Center at 138 South 6th Street. Free to play.
