Atlanta Falcons quarterback Marcus Mariota had a tough night in the office.
He’s been erratic on some passes and has already thrown one interception. He also led the Falcons by only three points in the first half.
Richard Sherman, who is never afraid to speak his mind, talks about Mariota’s performance so far and thinks he needs to sit on the bench.
“At this point, you have to bring in someone else. He’s making a rookie mistake and as a veteran you can’t get it. You have a good game plan. You Run the ball, don’t turn the ball.It’s careless,” Sherman said at the halftime show.
The Falcons decided to keep Mariota in the game, but perhaps Mariota had played better in the second half so far, and heeded these comments.
With the Falcons now only down four, he led the team in touchdown drives.
