Elmhurst’s School of Science, Technology and Mathematics (STM) has over 800 undergraduate and graduate students in six departments: biology, chemistry and biochemistry, computer science and information systems, mathematics, physics, and psychology. belongs to After graduating from our university, our graduates take a variety of paths, from health science fields such as medicine, dentistry, and pharmacy to graduate school and industry.
The school has over 40 highly qualified full-time faculty members who excel in and out of the classroom as well as their students.
The school counts 13 recipients of the prestigious Presidential Award for Outstanding Education among its ranks. The department publishes regularly in nationally recognized journals such as Science and Nature. STM faculty have also played a leading role in securing her five major external grants at the university. Most of them include funding to create additional research and learning opportunities for students.
