Ashburn, Virginia — The Washington Commanders dropped a winnable game against the Minnesota Vikings in Week 9, dropping to 4-5 in the process.
By our calculations, that’s two games the team had to win (the other being against the Tennessee Titans), but to make matters worse, this week’s game against the Philadelphia Eagles is more likely than it otherwise would have been. becomes even more important.
Honestly, even with a win over the Eagles on Monday night, it’s unlikely Washington will catch them to win the NFC East.
But keeping up with the wild card race is important, and dropping two games in a row after returning to .500 is a big blow.
The media week started a little later than usual due to Monday’s game day, and Thursday was the first time we’d seen an official practice report from the team.
