Happy Friday! It took him an extra day, but cold air finally spilled over to Carolina behind the system, which was moved earlier this week. Unfortunately for those trying to stay dry, Mother Nature is bringing the wet back to us this weekend. We hope to bring rain and snow showers, but even with increased cloud coverage, most spots will remain rain and flake free through the first half of the weekend. will do its best, with sporadic showers expected by the afternoon. A winter mixture may occur in higher elevation areas, but the sediments appear minimal at best.
Temperatures will remain relatively constant over the next five days despite the fluctuating chance of precipitation. Sunday is the only day that can drop below average temperatures. Some spots may struggle to clear the 30s and his 40s. More sunshine will return to our area by Monday, with less chance of showers by the second half of next week.
